San Marcos Parks

The City of San Marcos manages numerous public  parks and facilities, with 5 that are able to be reserved for group functions such as private parties and/or company picnics.   The City of San Marcos does not allow any water-based items at the party (e.g. dunk tanks or water slides) and a prior reservation must be made to have an inflatable jump house.  The parks do not provide any electricity, thus the party host will need to have a generator if he/she wants to have a jump house.

Reservations:  Reservations need to be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the event date by contacting The City of San Marcos Community Services.  Reservation holders will be posted in the park facility on the day of the event so that the designated space is reserved. For additional information, call (760) 744-9000 Ext. 3515

Reservation Fees:  the reservation fees start at $50 for a minimum 2-hour period and then vary based on the number of people who will  be at the event and the duration of the event.

Vendors:  Any company supplying equipment or services at your event needs to be listed as an approved vendor by listing the City of San Marcos as additionally insured on their $1 million insurance policy. San Diego Kids' Party Rentals can easily list The City of San Marcos as additionally insured.
